We all need prayer. We need to pray, and we need to be prayed for. The Bible urges us to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thess. 5:17). Prayer is a critical component of our relationship with Jesus Christ. As others have noted, prayer is the backbone of the Church, and at SBC we take it seriously. Prayer is an integral part of our worship services, Sunday School classes, and small groups.
We are excited to offer you the opportunity to submit your prayer requests or praise reports to the Prayer Chain. “Prayer Chain” is a group of members of the church who are contacted and asked to pray about a specific prayer request. You can contact our Pastor to send your request.
If you are interested in connecting with other people and starting new relationships or deepening current relationships, we invite you to be a part of our community.
We also have a wonderful group of caring women in the church called “The Martha Group.” They gather once every month for fellowship and prayer time. These women are amazing and help out in so many ways in the church, seen and un-seen.
